The Trinity Mining Services Rotary Car Dumper unloads trains of mine cars efficiently, rotating 190° degrees and returning to the upright position in just five seconds. Gravity does most of the work -the unit does not use any motors, gears or drive trains, thus it costs less to buy, operate and maintain than conventional motor-driven dumpers. Two giant air cylinders start the overturn- ing motion, then gravity completes the dumping cycle. "Plant air" or a 5 hp compressor with 20 CFM output provides all the power needed to dump car after car. The low height makes the sys- tem ideal for mining and tunneling operations and can be installed both above and underground.
